Eligibility: : To be eligible for this award, the Fjord Horse(s) must be registered with the Norwegian Fjord Horse Registry, and the applicant must be a current member of the Norwegian Fjord Horse Registry for the entire time that event participation is verified for this award.

To further recognize the accomplishments of our Fjords we are offering annual awards! Please download and complete the NFHR Awards Nomination form (link below) and return to the NFHR office (address on the nomination form) or scan/email to jeanne@nfhr.com. For each award you are nominating for, you must provide proof of scores from each show that you are participating in. The show year runs from 10/1 - 9/30/following year. Nominations and scores must be RECEIVED by NFHR Office by December 7, competition year.

Dressage - Recognized- 4 scores at 2 different shows under 2 different judges. Minimum score 60%

Dressage - Freestyle- 4 scores at 2 different shows under 2 different judges. Minimum score 60%

Eventing - Recognized - 2 scores from 2 different events under 2 different judges. Lowest total penalty points.

Schooling Dressage Shows 4 scores at 2 different shows under 2 different judges. Minimum score 60%. Judge must be L or higher.

Working Equitation- Final Competition Placement sheet (Dressage, Ease of Handling, Speed, Cattle). 2 shows under 2 different judges.

Western Dressage 4 scores at 2 different shows under 2 different judges. Minimum score 60%

Combined Driving-ADS or USDF Recognized 2 scores from 2 different events under 2 different judges. Lowest total penalty points.

Jumper Awards- Based on competition level and supplying copies of the final placing per show. 2 show minimum. (see below chart for point scale)

Hunter Awards -Based on competition level and supplying copies of the final placing per show. 2 show minimum. (see below chart for point scale)

First/6 points, Second/5 points, Third/4 points, Forth/3 points, Fifth/2 points, Sixth/1 Point
