This award is given out at organized shows where classes are judged. Eligibility: : To be eligible for this award, the Fjord Horse(s) must be registered with the Norwegian Fjord Horse Registry, and both the owner and rider/driver must be current members of the Norwegian Fjord Horse Registry at the time of the show. Qualifying:: A rider/driver with one or more horses can earn this award by achieving points at one given organized show. Each show is eligible to apply for the NFHR High Point Award with fjords competing.
Verifying Activities: With each show or event type, applicants need to download the application (link below) and be in communication with the NFHR Registrar, prior to the show.
Awards: A certificate and ribbon will be handed out at the show.
Other Acknowledgements: Other acknowledgements: In addition to certificates and ribbons, all awards earned will be acknowledged in the Fjord Herald.

NFHR High Point Award Guideline
Qualifying criteria:
•Horse must be NFHR registered
•Owner must be current NFHR member
•Exhibitor must be current NFHR member
The high point award request can be made by the event organizer or a member of the NFHR at least 3 weeks before the recognized event or prize list deadline to allow for verification and award shipment time.
•The requestor will use the NFHR High Point Award Application to gather relevant details.
•The NFHR Registrar will verify eligibility of the exhibitor(s)/owner(s)/horse(s)
•Upon verification of eligibility, a ribbon and certificate will be mailed to the appropriate address
•The requestor (or designee) or show organizer will keep track of the scoring during the event.
